Belle Brezing Bed Race
Cheapside Park - Races Start at 6:00pm

In honor of one of Lexington’s more illustrious historical figures, the Belle Brezing Bed Race will be held Thursday night on Short Street between Mill St. and Upper St. at 6pm.  Companies, schools, organizations and teams of individuals may enter their own specially decorated beds which will be raced in heats along  Short Street.  Heat winners will race each other until a grand prize winner can be declared and awards presented.   Each team must have one person in the bed, and 4 bed “pushers”.

Join the crowd at this fun event to cheer on your favorite team.  Vote for your favorite entry for only $1!  The team who raises the most money wins the "Fan Favorite" Award and gets to have the money raised donated to a charity of their choice.

Other awards include fastest time awards, Best Use of Decoration and Most Team Spirit.
